Trent is the founder and President of Carolina Benefits & Planning, Inc. With over 30 years of experience in the field of insurance his primary focus is developing, implementing, and servicing creative, out-of-the-box solutions for group benefit plans in the small/medium size business market. He is an innovative leader and always lives out his mission to treat others the way he would want to be treated. Trent is a lifetime resident of Apex, NC. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters and grandchildren.

Christina has been with the team, working in various roles since 1999. She uses her industry experiences to provide support to both HR and individual employees in areas such as: plan selection, complex claim review, COBRA, Section 125 and general compliance. She holds a B.S. in Education, which has served her well, as she also composes much of the content for our educational materials. Originally a Michigan native, she has made NC her home for over 30 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog and traveling with her 3 grown children.

Brittany joined the Carolina Benefits and Planning team in the summer of 2022. Brittany not only focuses on writing individual health and life insurance policies, but she also provides support to our group clients. Her previous background in teaching fifth grade has been a good fit, as she works one on one with people who are searching for the best plan options for their healthcare needs. Brittany enjoys spending time with her three kids, Jazzercise, and beach vacations.

Kylie has been with Carolina Benefits & Planning, Inc. since 2008. She handles all group benefit quote requests and navigates existing groups through their annual renewal process. Kylie graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Business Management. She has a love of horseback riding that developed during childhood, and she pursued this passion as a member of the NC State Equestrian team during her academic career. She resides in Raleigh where she enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband, Kyle, and her two adorable terriers.

Erin joined the Carolina Benefits & Planning team in June 2014. She had a previous background in HR that has served her well in her role as employer services coordinator. She works behind the scenes to implement processes and efficiencies to help clients in communicating the true value of their benefits through employer and employee training and education. She received her B.S. in Business Management from North Carolina State University. In addition to family time, she enjoys working out and is always up for a good laugh!

Bonnie joined the Carolina Benefits & Planning team September 2015 and has served in various roles, finally finding her niche as our benefit enrollment coordinator. She handles the details of all carrier movement for our group clients that need assistance with enrollments, terminations, and qualifying events. Bonnie makes the most of her time at home with family, has never met a stranger, and is always up for a good country music concert!
